Welcome to Black Horse Fabrications. We create custom military memorial bracelets, fallen-hero tributes, engraved plaques, military gifts, personalized jewelry, apparel, awards, displays, and other custom products.

​

Because many of our products are personalized and made specifically for one customer, different rules apply to custom products than to ordinary, non-personalized merchandise. Please read these policies carefully before placing an order.

By visiting our website, submitting customization information, approving a design proof, purchasing a product, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Store Policies, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.

2. CUSTOM AND PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS

Most Black Horse Fabrications products are made, engraved, printed, assembled, bent, finished, or otherwise personalized specifically for the customer.

Custom products may include, but are not limited to:

• Memorial bracelets

• Military unit bracelets

• Fallen-hero tributes

• Personalized plaques

• Memorial portraits

• Engraved whiskey glasses

• Gift boxes

• Military awards

• Desk flags and stands

• Dog tags

• Personalized jewelry

• Custom signs

• Bulk unit orders

• Products containing names, dates, photographs, emblems, unit information, quotations, or custom artwork

 

Custom and personalized items are created using the information supplied by the customer. The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information.

3. DESIGN PROOF AND APPROVAL PROCESS

When a design proof is provided, the customer must carefully review the entire proof before approving it.

 

Please verify all of the following:

• Names and spelling

• Rank and title

• Military branch

• Unit, company, battalion, regiment, squadron, department, or organization

• Birth, death, KIA, EOW, service, deployment, or memorial dates

• Capitalization

• Punctuation

• Emblems and insignia

• Photographs

• Quotes, mottos, Bible verses, and personal messages

• Product size and material

• Layout, placement, and orientation

• Quantity

• Shipping information

 

Approval may be provided by email, text message, website message, social-media message, or another written communication accepted by Black Horse Fabrications.

Once the customer approves the proof, the proof is considered final and production may begin immediately.

 

The customer’s approval confirms that:

1. The wording and design are correct.

2. The customer authorizes Black Horse Fabrications to manufacture the product.

3. The customer accepts the placement and appearance shown in the proof.

4. The customer understands that changes may not be possible after approval.

5. The customer accepts responsibility for errors that appeared in the approved proof.

 

Black Horse Fabrications is not responsible for spelling, date, rank, unit, wording, or design errors that were present in a customer-approved proof.

 

4. ORDERS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE A PROOF

Some products may not require a separate proof.

For products without a proof, production begins after Black Horse Fabrications receives the order and determines that the customization information is complete.

Customers should immediately contact us after ordering if they discover an error. We will make reasonable efforts to correct information before production begins, but changes cannot be guaranteed.

Once production begins, the custom item becomes non-refundable.

 

5. CHANGES AFTER PROOF APPROVAL

Changes requested after proof approval are not guaranteed.

If production has not started, Black Horse Fabrications may be able to make the requested change.

If production has already started, the customer may be required to:

• Pay an additional design or production charge

• Purchase a replacement item

• Pay additional shipping costs

• Accept a revised completion date

 

A change request does not automatically stop production. Customers should contact us immediately by text and email when an urgent correction is needed.

 

6. CUSTOM ORDERS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE IN PRODUCTION

Personalized and custom-made products cannot normally be resold.

For that reason, all personalized and custom products are considered final sale once:

• The customer approves the design proof;

• Production begins;

• Engraving, printing, cutting, bending, painting, assembly, or finishing begins; or

• Custom materials are ordered specifically for the customer.

 

Once one of these events occurs, the order cannot be canceled, refunded, returned, or exchanged because the customer:

• Changed their mind

• Entered incorrect information

• Approved incorrect wording

• Ordered the wrong size, material, finish, or quantity

• No longer needs the product

• Missed an event or personal deadline

• Disagrees with information shown in an approved proof

• Expected a different result that was not included in the approved design

 

Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

 

7. CANCELLATIONS BEFORE PRODUCTION

Customers should contact Black Horse Fabrications immediately to request cancellation.

A cancellation may be approved when:

• Production has not begun;

• Custom materials have not been purchased;

• The design has not been approved; and

• Significant custom design work has not already been completed.

 

Cancellation eligibility depends on the status of the order at the time the request is received.

Payment-processing charges, design work, setup work, custom materials, or other costs already incurred may be deducted from an approved cancellation refund where permitted by law.

Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that the order can be canceled.

 

8. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED INFORMATION AND MATERIALS

The customer is responsible for all information and materials submitted for a custom order.

This includes:

• Names

• Dates

• Military or first responder information

• Unit details

• Photographs

• Logos

• Emblems

• Insignia

• Artwork

• Quotes

• Poems

• Song lyrics

• Bible verses

• Personal messages

• Trademarks

• Copyrighted material

 

By submitting content, the customer represents that they:

1. Have the right or permission to use the submitted content;

2. Have received any permission reasonably required from the person, family, organization, photographer, artist, business, unit, or rights holder;

3. Are not violating another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights; and

4. Authorize Black Horse Fabrications to reproduce the content solely as necessary to create and fulfill the order.

 

Black Horse Fabrications may refuse or cancel any order containing unlawful, threatening, hateful, defamatory, fraudulent, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content.

 

9. MEMORIAL NAMES, PHOTOGRAPHS, AND PERSONAL STORIES

Customers frequently submit names, photographs, military records, dates, and personal stories involving deceased service members, veterans, first responders, relatives, or loved ones.

By submitting this material, the customer represents that they are authorized to request the product and use the submitted information.

 

Black Horse Fabrications does not independently verify every name, date, rank, unit, photograph, family relationship, or service record submitted for a private custom order.

 

The customer is responsible for resolving any disagreement involving family members, organizations, units, estates, photographers, or other interested parties.

 

Black Horse Fabrications reserves the right to pause, refuse, or cancel a disputed order.

 

10. PRODUCT APPEARANCE AND HANDMADE VARIATIONS

 

Many Black Horse Fabrications products are individually engraved, cut, bent, assembled, painted, polished, or finished.

 

Minor variations are normal and may include differences in:

• Metal grain

• Wood grain

• Engraving depth

• Engraving shade

• Color

• Finish

• Texture

• Alignment

• Bracelet curvature

• Dimensions

• Placement

• Natural markings

• Screen-to-product color appearance

 

Computer screens, phones, lighting, photography, product materials, and manufacturing processes may cause the finished product to look slightly different from an online image or digital proof.

Minor handmade, material, or color variations are not considered defects.

 

11. SIZING AND FIT

Customers are responsible for reviewing product measurements and selecting the correct size before ordering.

Bracelet fit depends on wrist size, bracelet material, product dimensions, and the customer’s preferred fit.

 

Custom engraved items cannot be returned because the customer selected the wrong size unless

 

Black Horse Fabrications manufactured a size different from the size ordered and approved.

Customers who are unsure about sizing should contact us before placing an order.

 

12. NON-PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS

Unused, non-personalized products may be eligible for return within 30 days after delivery.

To qualify, the product must be:

• Non-personalized

• Unused and unworn

• In its original condition

• In its original packaging

• Accompanied by proof of purchase

• Approved for return before being shipped back

 

Customers must contact Black Horse Fabrications before returning an item.

 

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

 

Original shipping charges are normally non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is caused by a Black Horse Fabrications error or a confirmed product defect.

 

Apparel that has been worn, washed, stained, damaged, altered, or exposed to smoke, strong odors, or pet hair is not eligible for return.

 

13. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ORDERS

 

Black Horse Fabrications stands behind its workmanship.

 

Customers should inspect their order promptly after delivery.

 

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or different from the approved order, contact us within seven calendar days of delivery.

 

Please provide:

• Order number

• Customer name

• Description of the problem

• Clear photographs of the product

• Photographs of the packaging

• Photograph of the shipping label

• Any other information reasonably requested

 

Do not discard the item or packaging until the issue has been reviewed.

 

When Black Horse Fabrications confirms that an error occurred, we may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

• Repair

• Re-engraving

• Replacement

• Store credit

• Partial refund

• Full refund

 

The appropriate remedy will depend on the product and circumstances.

 

A customer-approved spelling, date, rank, unit, layout, photograph, emblem, or wording error is not considered a Black Horse Fabrications production error.

 

Normal wear, misuse, improper storage, bending damage, scratches, chemical exposure, impact damage, moisture damage, or customer alterations are not considered manufacturing defects.

 

14. SHIPPING AND ORDER PROCESSING

Production time and shipping time are separate.

Production estimates begin after:

• Payment is received;

• All required customization information is supplied; and

• The design proof is approved, when applicable.

 

Production and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless Black Horse Fabrications agrees to a guaranteed deadline in writing.

 

Orders may be shipped through USPS or another available carrier.

 

Tracking information will normally be sent to the email address provided during checkout after the shipping label is created.

Tracking activation may be delayed until the carrier scans the package.

 

15. CUSTOMER SHIPPING ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Black Horse Fabrications is not responsible for packages delayed, returned, or delivered incorrectly because the customer supplied:

• An incorrect street address

• An incorrect apartment or unit number

• An old address

• An incomplete address

• An incorrect ZIP code

• An incorrect recipient name

 

Customers should contact us immediately if an address correction is needed.

If an order has already shipped, Black Horse Fabrications may be unable to change the address.

Additional shipping charges may apply when a package must be shipped again because of an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address.

 

16. LOST, STOLEN, OR DELAYED PACKAGES

After a package is accepted by the shipping carrier, delivery is controlled by the carrier.

Black Horse Fabrications is not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, holidays, transportation interruptions, incorrect addresses, natural disasters, government action, labor disputes, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If tracking shows that a package was delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should:

1. Check the delivery location;

2. Ask household members or neighbors;

3. Contact the local carrier office;

4. Allow additional time for a premature delivery scan; and

5. Contact Black Horse Fabrications for available assistance.

 

Black Horse Fabrications will reasonably assist with a carrier inquiry or claim but cannot guarantee that the carrier will approve reimbursement.

Customers concerned about theft should choose a secure delivery location.

 

17. RUSH ORDERS AND CUSTOMER DEADLINES

Customers must disclose event dates, memorial dates, retirement dates, ceremonies, deployment dates, birthdays, holidays, or other deadlines before placing the order.

A requested date is not guaranteed unless Black Horse Fabrications confirms the deadline in writing.

Shipping estimates do not guarantee delivery by a particular date.

 

Black Horse Fabrications is not responsible for missed events or deadlines caused by:

• Late proof approval

• Incomplete order information

• Customer-requested changes

• Carrier delays

• Incorrect addresses

• Weather

• Supply interruptions

• Circumstances outside our reasonable control

Rush charges may apply when rush service is available.

 

18. PRICING, PAYMENTS, AND TAXES

Prices may change without notice.

The price displayed when the customer completes checkout will normally control, except in the event of an obvious pricing, system, or listing error.

Applicable sales tax, shipping charges, and other fees may be added during checkout.

 

Customers authorize Black Horse Fabrications and its payment providers to charge the selected payment method for the full order amount.

Orders may be held or canceled when:

• Payment is declined;

• Payment cannot be verified;

• Fraud is suspected;

• A pricing error occurred;

• Required order information is missing; or

• The order violates these policies.

 

Black Horse Fabrications does not directly receive or store the customer’s complete payment-card number when payment is processed through Wix or another third-party payment provider.

 

19. PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS, AND COUPONS

Promotions and coupon codes:

• Must be used before expiration;

• Cannot normally be combined unless stated otherwise;

• Have no cash value;

• Cannot be applied retroactively after checkout;

• May exclude custom work, bulk orders, shipping, taxes, or selected products;

• May be limited to one use per customer or order; and

• May be changed or discontinued where permitted by law.

 

Free-item promotions may require all qualifying items to be placed in the same order.

Unless otherwise stated, the least expensive qualifying item will be treated as the free item.

 

20. BULK AND ORGANIZATIONAL ORDERS

Bulk orders may require:

• A deposit

• Full payment before production

• A final written proof approval

• Quantity confirmation

• Delivery-address confirmation

• A signed estimate or invoice

• Additional production time

 

Bulk, unit, organizational, fundraising, wholesale, and group orders are final once approved and placed into production.

Changes to quantity, names, dates, or designs may affect pricing and completion time.

 

21. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the Black Horse Fabrications website and its original content are owned by or licensed to Black Horse Fabrications.

Protected content may include:

• Product photographs

• Product descriptions

• Original artwork

• Graphics

• Memorial layouts

• Website text

• Logos

• Branding

• Videos

• Social-media content

• Design templates

• Engraving layouts

 

Customers may not copy, reproduce, sell, publish, distribute, modify, or commercially use Black Horse Fabrications content without written permission.

 

Purchasing a physical product does not transfer ownership of Black Horse Fabrications artwork, production files, design files, templates, photographs, or intellectual property.

 

22. CUSTOM DESIGN FILES

Digital production files, engraving files, editable artwork, source files, templates, and machine settings are not included with the purchase of a physical product unless specifically stated in writing.

Black Horse Fabrications may retain custom design and order records for:

• Reorders

• Customer support

• Product-history documentation

• Legal and accounting records

• Quality control

 

Retention of a design does not guarantee that the same materials, fonts, machines, finish, or exact appearance will remain available for a future reorder.

 

23. CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

Customers may submit reviews, testimonials, photographs, or social-media tags.

By voluntarily tagging Black Horse Fabrications or sending content for promotional use, the customer may grant Black Horse Fabrications permission to repost or display that material.

 

Black Horse Fabrications will make reasonable efforts to handle memorial content respectfully.

Customers may request removal of voluntarily submitted promotional content by contacting blackhorsefab@gmail.com.

 

Black Horse Fabrications may edit a review for length, formatting, spelling, or removal of private information but will not intentionally change its meaning.

 

24. ACCEPTABLE WEBSITE USE

Customers may not use the Black Horse Fabrications website to:

• Commit fraud

• Submit false information

• Violate intellectual-property rights

• Transmit malicious code

• Attempt unauthorized access

• Scrape or copy website content

• Interfere with website operation

• Harass customers or employees

• Submit illegal, hateful, threatening, or abusive content

• Violate applicable law

 

Black Horse Fabrications may restrict website access, refuse service, cancel an order, or report unlawful activity when reasonably necessary.

 

25. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The website may use or link to third-party services, including:

26. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Products and website services are provided to the fullest extent permitted by law on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

Black Horse Fabrications does not promise that:

• Every product will always be available;

• Website information will always be free from errors;

• A product will meet an unstated expectation;

• A shipping carrier will meet an estimated delivery date; or

• Search engines, social-media platforms, or third parties will display particular content.

 

Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

 

27. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Horse Fabrications will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:

• Lost opportunities

• Customer-supplied errors

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, Black Horse Fabrications’ total liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount the customer paid for the product involved in the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain liability limitations, so some limitations may not apply.

 

28. INDEMNIFICATION

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Black Horse Fabrications and its owner, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from:

• Customer-submitted content;

• Customer infringement of another person’s rights;

• Customer misuse of a product;

• Customer violation of these terms; or

• Customer violation of applicable law.

 

29. GOVERNING LAW

These policies and any dispute involving Black Horse Fabrications will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply.

To the extent permitted by law, legal proceedings involving Black Horse Fabrications will be brought in an appropriate court located in Harris County, Texas.

Customers may also have mandatory legal rights in their home jurisdiction that cannot be waived by these terms.

 

30. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these policies is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

The invalid provision will be limited or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted by law.

 

31. CHANGES TO STORE POLICIES AND TERMS

Black Horse Fabrications may update these policies when business practices, services, laws, or website features change.

 

The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.

Changes will apply to website use after the updated policy is posted. The policies in effect when an order was placed will generally govern that order unless a change is required by law.

Unsubscribing from promotional messages will not prevent necessary transactional messages regarding an active order.

 

40. DATA RETENTION

Black Horse Fabrications may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Fulfill an order

• Support future reorders

• Provide customer service

Custom artwork, proof approvals, order communications, and production records may be retained to document the customer’s instructions and support reorders.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of.

 

41. DATA SECURITY

Black Horse Fabrications uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures intended to protect personal information.

However, no website, email system, payment system, data-storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

 

Customers should not send highly sensitive information through ordinary email, text message, or social media unless it is necessary for the order.
